Discover the pearls of the Adriatic: wild beauty, ancient ruins, art treasures and the hidden delights of Dubrovnik, Kotor and Split.
Enjoy a stunning sail through the heart of the Kornati Islands..
ZADAR
Zadar is the northernmost town in Croatia, its historic centre built on a well protected peninsula. For many years the fortified city represented a strategic post on the eastern shores of the Adriatic, which is why it was so coveted by the Venetians and Turks for nearly two centuries.
TROGIR
The city of Trogir is like a museum town, so rich and diversified is its heritage. Narrow cobblestone streets, elegant palaces and above all its magnificent cathedral have earned it a place on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. It is from here that you can discover Split, the former imperial residence and home to Diocletian’s famous Palace.
HVAR
A mild sunny climate has earned Hvar the epithet “Croatia’s Madeira”. The old town cradled in the bay boasts many remarkable monuments, all of which bear witness to a rich history influenced by Gothic and Renaissance art.
DUBROVNIK
Dubrovnik has preserved its rich architectural heritage, and its many palaces, monuments and white stone churches are in perfect harmony. Long considered as a rival to Venice, traces of its illustrious past are to be found throughout the city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
KOTOR
The fortified town of Kotor is located at the end of a complex series of bays surrounded by limestone massifs in a magnificent region of Montenegro.
MLJET
One of the best kept secrets off the Croatian coast , the island of Mljet is a delight. Legend has it that Poseidon blew Ulysses towards Mljet where he was enchanted by the nymph Calypso.
KORCULA
You will be charmed by the harmony which emerges from the old town of Korcula. The medieval architecture of white stone towers offers a stunning contrast to the orange-red roofs of the houses set against a limpid blue sea. For those who love stonework, the alleyways, squares and palaces are a pleasure to behold.
SIBENIK
The unspoiled beauty of this rugged coastline bleached by the salt and bordered by blue sea transforms Sibenik into a giant aquarium, and today a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nearby Krka’s waterfalls and national park await your visit.
THE KORNATI ARCHIPELAGO
Le Ponant will be sailing through the heart of the Kornati islands. Several hundred islands and islets rise up out of the sea creating an extraordinarily beautiful setting.
