Venice & Dalmatian Colours Italy, Croatia and Slovenia aboard Le Levant |
| 8 Days / 7 Nights • July 22, 29 •Aug.5, 2010 |
 |
Stroll around the Medieval cities of Croatia registered in the UNESCO World Heritage and discover Kornati islands and the famous Mouths of Kotor: remarkable land and seascapes amongst the most beautiful in the Mediterranean.
KORNATI ARCHIPELAGO
Le Levant cruises through the heart of the kornati Islands: several hundred islands and islets, nearly all deserted, rise up out of the sea creating an extraordinarily coloured world amidst crystal clear waters where the seabed seems to be almost gazing up at you.
SIBENIK
The unspoiled beauty of this rugged coastline bleached by the salt and bordered by blue sea transforms Sibenik into a giant aquarium, and today a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nearby Krka’s waterfalls and national park await your visit.
KOTOR
The fortified town of Kotor is located at the end of a complex series of bays surrounded by limestone massifs in a magnificent region of Montenegro.
DUBROVNIK
Dubrovnik has preserved its rich architectural heritage, and its many palaces, monuments and white stone churches are in perfect harmony. Long considered as a rival to Venice, traces of its illustrious past are to be found throughout the city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
HVAR
A mild sunny climate has earned Hvar the epithet “Croatia’s Madeira”. The old town cradled in the bay boasts many remarkable monuments, all of which bear witness to a rich history influenced by Gothic and Renaissance art.
SPLIT
Along the Dalmatian coast, this ancient former imperial residence reveals all: fortified walls, towers, temples, palaces and baths. A museum in itself, Split is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to Diocletian's famous Palace.
ZADAR
Zadar is the northernmost town in Croatia, its historic centre built on a well protected peninsula. For many years the fortified city represented a strategic post on the eastern shores of the Adriatic, which is why it was so coveted by the Venetians and Turks for nearly two centuries.
RAB
The delightful medieval city is an architectural marvel thanks to its many palaces, churches with bell towers and winding alleyways. It is also famous for a fantastic annual Medieval Festival.
ROVINJ
In days gone by, Rovinj was a peaceful fishing port on the Istria Peninsula. Today its picturesque narrow streets lead you down to a marina where fishing boats jostle comfortably alongside modern yachts.
PIRAN
Cultural centre of the Slovenian Riviera, the small yet perfectly formed town of Piran has preserved a medieval atmosphere with its narrow streets and closely packed houses rising in steps from the shore to the top of the hill. A typically Mediterranean view.
