| LIZNJAN
Liznjan, a fishing village with its naturally protected harbour was established in Roman times.
Liznjan has a little over 2,000 inhabitants spread over an area of about 60 square kilometers. It has 27.6 kilometers of rich seacoast and unspoiled beaches.
Liznjan itself is a small fishermen's village with traces of agriculture and family-based tourism.
Four grocery stores, three restaurants, two hairdressers, various shops, a meat market, bank and medical center are available for your convenience. If there is something you can't find here, just vist the small neighboring town of Medulin, one of the biggest centers of tourism in Istria, with over a million visitors per year.

In the vicinity of Liznjan, there are more than 26 archeological sites, among which the most famous is the Šandalja Cave with artifacts from Paleolithic and Nezakcium (Vizače), the fort of the Iliric tribe of Histri.
