This exclusive property is located on the edge of the medieval hilltop town of Momian with a view of old Castle ruins and surrounding vineyards. Alto Buiese, the northern part of the Istrian peninsula is considered to produce the best wines in this part of the Mediterranean.

The closest restaurant Rino, named after its friendly owner, is about 350m from Casa Momiano. The Taverna Furia serves tasty Istrian dishes such as 'fuzi al tartufo' (pasta with truffles). In nearby Kremenje (5km), the restaurant Marino is famous for its grilled meat. Buje (5km) offers comprehensive amenities within its narrow, winding cobbled streets. A revered Grape Festival is held in Buje over the long weekend in September. Parades, concerts and wine tasting are performed.
